Wethersfield High School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1996. It is a four-year comprehensive high school on a beautiful 37-acre site. The school itself includes a greenhouse, eight tennis courts, a synthetic surface on the outdoor track, the Esposito baseball complex, softball fields, the DiCicco Soccer Field and the Cottone Football stadium. The high school receives extensive year-round community use. The 230,000 square foot building includes a recently renovated guidance suite and lecture hall with seating for approximately 150 students. The facility also includes forty-two general classrooms, five well-equipped technology education laboratories, two interdisciplinary computer labs, a world language lab, an 18,000-volume library/media center and a 850-seat auditorium. The physical education area consists of a main gym, auxiliary gym, wrestling room, two weight rooms, locker facilities and a 25-yard swimming pool.

During the 2011-2012 school year, we have approximately 100 certified staff members servicing a school enrollment of approximately 1150 students.
