The University of Connecticut excited to invite female STEM students to gather at the Storrs campus to explore all of the exciting possibilities they can pursue as engineering majors at UConn on Thursday, September 28th, 2017. Space fills quickly and students must provide their own transportation to UConn. Please see your school counselor for the link to register.
The Future Educators Club will meet today at 2:10 in room 331. New members are welcome! Please see Mrs. Gallivan if you have any questions.
Math team will have practice tomorrow, afterschool in room 502. Please see Mrs. Belanger with any questions or to pick up the practice packet.
There will be a Model UN meeting tomorrow after school in room 117 – Please see Mr. Ferrett if you are unable to attend.
Are you interested in the proposed trip to France and Spain for April of 2019? There will be a meeting for students and parents Wednesday September 27th at 6:30 pm in the Chorus room. If you want more details on the trip or meeting see Mr. Nick in room 316. He has the details.
All staff and students are invited to join the Student and Faculty Prayer Groups as they See You at the Pole! Come join with us and people around the world as we pray for the school, community, state and country in this international day of prayer. Come to the Community/Pool entrance at 7:10 am on Wednesday September 27. See Mr. Moger or Mrs. Berloe if you have questions.
Are you interested in being a part of a club that brings together LGBTQI+ and straight students to support each other, provide a safe place to socialize, and create a platform to fight for racial, gender, LGBTQ, and economic justice? If so, come to an informational meeting for the Wethersfield GSA which will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 2:10pm in Room 418. If you cannot attend the meeting or have any questions, please see Mrs. Lindsay, Mrs. Harrison, or Mr. Chatfield.
The next JETS engineering design club meeting will be on Thursday, 9/28 at 7pm in room 24. New members always welcome. If you have any questions, see Mr. Sikora in room 24.
The next session of Driver's Education will begin October 5th. Students may pick up an application form in the Adult Ed office or parents can call to have one mailed home. Space is limited to 25 students.
Representatives from the following colleges will be in guidance. Students wishing to meet with these representatives need to obtain a pass from Guidance and request permission from their classroom teacher.
