We are gearing up for summer break, and hope students can relax and enjoy the sunshine. We also want them to keep their minds active while they're away from the classroom. You may already know that we offer free digital books through OverDrive (http://wps.lib.overdrive.com), which provides 24/7 access to eBooks and audiobooks. What better way to engage your student's mind than through reading? This summer, OverDrive is offering the OverDrive Summer Read program which is another way to keep students reading during summer break. A collection of Juvenile and Young Adult titles are now available for multiple students to borrow beginning June 1 through 30. Please click the title for more.

The Safe Routes Program, is a National program that is focused on improving children's safety while walking and bicycling to and from school with program benefits that stretch beyond the school day. Participating in a SRTS program can improve the health of our children & community. The common goal of a safe trip to school brings families, neighbors, school officials & community leaders together. Every child - and community - deserves a safe route to school. Please click the title for more.
