Hanmer parents are invited to become part of our "Hanmer Family" by joining the PTO.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

Many opportunities are available for parents to volunteer an hour, attend an occasional meeting, become a Board member, and chair or become a member of a committee. Committees consist of: Programs; Ways and Means; Room Parents; School Enrichment; Hanmer Happenings (school newsletter); Member and Nominating; Hospitality; 6th Grade Committee; Landscaping Committee; Wethersfield School-Parent Council; Parent Volunteers; and Creative Arts.

The PTO sponsors many activities, including a Spring Fair, and funds several projects and field trips throughout the school year.
