Welcome to Charles Wright Elementary School!

Affectionately and proudly dubbed the “Pearl of Wethersfield,” Charles Wright School boasts a strong academic curriculum delivered to a student population of 312 students with rich and diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. From grades K-6, over a dozen different languages are spoken in the homes of our students. From Albanian to Urdu students are immersed in a multicultural setting facilitated by classroom teachers and specialists. The staff works diligently to ensure that each student receives a high quality education.

The Charles Wright School community is comprised of a strong dedicated group of individuals with diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds who work continuously to improve the school environment and academic programs. All members are embraced for their differences and strengths. Our goal is to nurture all students and staff in order for everyone to reach their greatest potential. We work collectively to prepare our students to become contributing members of society.
