On February 6th, 2004 Wethersfield High school graduate, Jim Flannery, returned to WHS to present a unique and well earned award to Peter Hahn a senior WHS physics student. The national award was for a contest called "Mission Physics" created by Flantascience and organized by Flannery. In the contest students across the country were challenged to create an engaging and informative peer-to-peer teaching video to introduce and explain Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation. Combining his knowledge of physics with his enthusiasm for the subject, Peter created a two minute video complete with narration and animation, as well as clear explanations of the concept and its applications. His video was judged by a panel of physics teachers. Based on his video's engaging and educational nature, Peter was awarded 2nd place nationally in the competition. Please click the title for more.

The Webb School Kindness Club took time to create "Thank you for all you do" treat bags for every staff member at Webb. It was a small way for the children at Webb to show the staff how much they appreciate them. The Kindness Club gave up their recess time to go around and surprise each staff member! Special thank you to Melissa Perry and Elisabeth D'Amato for coordinating this special event. Please click the title for more.
