Summer Hours for the Wethersfield Board of Education Offices:
Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
These hours are in effect from Monday, July 6, 2015 through Friday, August 21, 2015.

Sixth graders at Webb studied ancient cultures throughout the year. The year culminated in an Ancients Fair in which students explored a topic in depth and shared their knowledge with the Webb community. Please click for photos.

Preschoolers in Mrs. Weber's class recently got a lesson on magnets provided by some of Mrs. Taschner's 4th graders. The older children provided some instruction on what magnets would and would not hold and gave the young ones opportunities to use the magnets. The younger students looked up to the the older ones and enjoyed having them as "teachers." Please click for photos.

The Wethersfield High School Class of 2015 commencement exercises will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Wethersfield's Cove Park at 6:00 p.m. For planning purposes, there will be two graduation practices - the first practice will be held in the new WHS gymnasium at 1:00 pm on Thursday June 18th and the second practice will be held at Cove Park at noon on June 19th, the day of graduation.

Wethersfield High School Drama won the Special Achievement in Arts Education Award for linking the Seussical musical to literacy and arts instruction in the classroom. The Special Achievement in Arts Education Award recognizes those schools who successfully connect the school musical to the curriculum and utilize the musical to meet the CT State Department of Education Core Curriculum Content Standards for Visual and Performing Arts for its participants and the greater school population. Congratulations WHS!
